I`m investing almost 10Y, but I can tell that since 2012. I really clarified my investment objectives. Objectives that I, and now we, believed in.
When it comes to our personal investments, we have three primary objectives:
1. Current income
2. Growth of that income
3. Capital appreciation
We like to buy income producing assets.
Dividend growth stocks are just one of the perfects because they achieve all three of our investment objectives.
By owning the common stock of a company, you are part owner in that business. And, you participate in all the potential rewards and risks that go with ownership.
The dividend stocks we are talking about usually increase their dividend payments every year. The growing dividend helps your income keep up with inflation.
In addition, as the company raises its dividend year after year, the stock price will usually follow the upward trend.
We prefer dividend growth stocks with yields ranging from 2-5%.
You can get our favorite dividend paying stocks in the R&D Dividends Portfolio.
The R&D Dividends Portfolio is a deep list dividend growth stocks, with the latest dividend stock review we have completed for the company. Each stock analysis and review is based on what we call the dividend deep dive.
The dividend deep dive is our process for analyzing a dividend stock, and part of that process is analysis of Company`s Background, Dividend Stock & Dividend Yield %, Pay out Ratio, Dividend Growth %, DY% + DG%, Business Risks, Dividend Stock Valuation, P/E Ratio, and calculation of a fair value for the company’s stock price and compare it to the current market price using GGM.
The R&D Dividends Portfolio contain 42 stocks from 5 industries.
